New York City’s boroughs are forecast to get up to two feet of snow between Sunday, Feb. 22 and Monday, Feb. 23, from a blizzard that may break some snowfall records.
The National Weather Service is forecasting snow accumulations of at least 20 inches in several locations, including Manhattan, Coney Island and Kennedy Airport. Similar to what is expected in nearby New Jersey.

This exceeds the forecast from Feb. 21, which showed the Metro New York area would get about 9 inches.

The predicted snowfall for the New York City area as of 4 p.m. on Feb. 22:
Rockaway Beach: 23 inches
Washington Heights: 19 inches
LaGuardia Airport: 20 inches
