Strolling through the snow blanketing New York City’s Central Park in beanies, long jackets and boots, Florencia Guerendiain and her daughter said they have never seen so much snow in their lives.
People were out for walks with dogs and umbrellas before a powerful blizzard inundates the city.
The Argentines are visiting the Big Apple for the first time and are hoping to still enjoy their stay after the upcoming snowstorm subsides.
Though their Broadway showing of “Chicago” was canceled, the pair seemed unfazed.
“(It’s) beautiful, awesome, even with this snow, I love it,” Guerendiain said.
Julia Savill, who is visiting from England and sporting a much-coveted Trader Joe’s bag, said her “Wicked” show had also been canceled.
She was meant to fly home on Monday, but her flight was canceled and rescheduled for Tuesday.
“Everyone thinks it’s magical, this weather, now, when it’s not so deep, but obviously things started shutting down,” she said.
