MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Stretch those shoulders, New Yorkers. A giant snowball fight is set to take place in New York City on Monday after the snowstorm ends.
SidetalkNYC, a social media account dedicated to New York City, posted a flyer to X on Sunday calling for New Yorkers to join in on celebrating the end of blizzard-like conditions in the tri-state area.
New York City could see well over a foot of snow as the storm makes its way through the region, with travel bans set in place until at least 12 p.m. on Monday.
“NYC TELL YOUR FRIENDS,” SidetalkNYC said on X.
The snowball fight is set for 2 p.m. in Washington Square Park, according to the flyer.
