STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — More than 1,600 customers are out of power on Monday morning in neighborhoods throughout Staten Island during the blizzard.
While there are scattered power outages throughout the borough, over 830 customers are out of power in and around Annadale and Huguenot. The rough boundaries are Delmar Avenue, Arden Avenue, Green Valley Road and Crown Avenue, according to the Con Edison website.
Over 775 customers have lights out in and around Meiers Corners and Willowbrook. The outages extend roughly north of the Staten Island Expressway to Victory Boulevard and from Woodward Avenue to Manor Road.
Con Edison is evaluating conditions and dispatching crews. Some areas might see power restored by 1 p.m., according to the Con Edison website.
