CITYWIDE — COURTHOUSES ACROSS NEW YORK and several surrounding counties will be closed Monday, Feb. 23, due to continuing inclement weather.
The closures apply to courts in the five boroughs and in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster, Green and Columbia counties, except for emergency applications.
Criminal Court arraignment parts will open at 2 p.m. Family Court emergency matters will be heard in Criminal Court. Jurors are not required to report.
In the city Civil Court, no evictions will be conducted from Feb. 23 through Feb. 27, no defaults will be taken and missed appearances will be rescheduled.
The First and Second Department Appellate Divisions are also closed on Monday.
