STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island University Hospital has postponed its annual Healthcare Summit scheduled for Tuesday at the St. George Theatre due to inclement weather.
A new date has yet to be set for the event.
This year’s summit will highlight current trends, programs and challenges in maternal health, according to an announcement from SIUH.
The event, formerly known as the North Shore Summit, will be held at a later date and will gather local partners, community organizations, elected officials, Northwell Health leaders and other stakeholders to explore innovative strategies to improve health throughout Staten Island, according to the hospital announcement.
Attendees will hear from guest speakers and participate in panel discussions while having opportunities to connect with local organizations working in the field.
