A monster blizzard has ravaged the tri-state area, dumping more than a foot of snow and causing power outages throughout the region.

Around 155,440 customers in the tri-state area are experiencing power outages as of Monday morning at a time when temperatures are frigid and snow keeps falling.

New Jersey appears the state in the area greatest hit with outages, topping more than 124,000.

As of 6:45 a.m. the outages reported by the following utilities are:

PSEG LI: 15,935 outages

NYS Electric & Gas: 21 outages

Central Hudson: 144 outages

New Jersey
