Pieces of ice were stacked along the shore of New York’s Long Island on Sunday, February 22, footage shows.

Timelapse and aerial footage from Michael Busch, also known as greatsouthbayimages, captures ice building up in Bellport, Long Island, ahead of the approaching blizzard.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), intense snow bands began tracking northwest over Long Island early Monday morning, bringing strong winds and up to three inches of snow per hour.
