The New York state Senate Republican Conference unveiled a package of housing bills on Wednesday aimed at affordability.

Their agenda includes State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) reform, a repeal of the All-Electric Building Act, which is currently on hold due to litigation, and means testing rent stabilization in New York City.

Long Island state Sen. Jack Martins, the ranking member of the Senate Housing Committee, joined Capital Tonight host Susan Arbetter with more on the issue.
