MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on the northeast side of Manhattan, officials said.
The crash was reported around 4:16 p.m. Wednesday near Northfield Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
Riley County Police officials said a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Christopher Bunnel, 43, of Manhattan, collided with a 2016 Ford Edge driven by Renee Novak, 51, of Manhattan. Jerome Novak, 51, of Manhattan, was listed as a passenger in the Ford Edge.

Jerome Novak was reported to have “minor injuries” and was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan by Riley County Emergency Medical Services, officials said.
Bunnel was issued a citation for failing to yield at a stop sign and Renee Novak was issued a citation for no liability insurance, officials said.
