Bath, N.Y. — New York State Police have charged a Steuben County man with second-degree rape.
Zachary Preston, 26, of Bath was arrested Wednesday following an investigation that started in September 2025 after a report involving a 13-year-old girl, according to state police.
Preston was taken to Steuben County Jail to await arraignment, police said. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
