New York Magazine was honored by the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) yesterday with ten National Magazine Award nominations, twice as many as any other publication, including General Excellence (News, Sports, and Entertainment) for the 11th consecutive year, and Lifestyle Journalism for The Cut. New York had work recognized across a variety of categories honoring written journalism, newsletters, photography, and design. Additionally, New York is a finalist for six ASME Awards for Design, Photography & Illustration.
New York’s Vox Media colleagues at Eater and the Verge received two additional National Magazine Award finalist nominations. Winners will be announced on May 19.
