MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was arrested Thursday morning in connection with criminal damage to property in Manhattan, officials said.
The arrested woman, Virginia Lynn Beneux, 46, of Manhattan, was arrested around 2:14 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Griffith Drive on the north side of Manhattan in connection with the incident.
Riley County Police officials said a 63-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported that a known 46-year-old woman damaged the inside of an apartment.
A woman was held on a $100,000 bond in the Riley County Jail following her Thursday arrest in connection with criminal damage to property, officials said.(WIBW)
The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,000.
Beneux was subsequently arrested, then booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with criminal damage to property.
She was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail on Friday morning, officials said.
