After having their five-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday, the final game of their four-game West Coast road trip, the Boston Celtics came out with a vengeance on Friday night. Returning to Boston for the first time since the All-Star break, the Celtics welcomed in the Brooklyn Nets, and handled business from start to finish in a historically great shooting night.
Putting up the highest effective field-goal shooting percentage in NBA history, the Celtics got control of the game early and never looked back in a game they had to show their dominance in against the Nets. The Celtics had five players in double digits, including three with at least 20 points.

Incredible shooting performance: Shooting 65% from 3-point range, 67% from the field, and 81% from the free throw, Boston had the best effective shooting performance from the field in league history. Boston had the mismatch at evey level on the court on Friday night and they took full advantage with smart basketball IQ, picking the right shot, and nailing them at a highly effective rate.

Rebounding dominance: One of the biggest advantages that the Celtics have had in their wins this season has been on the boards, and that continued against Brooklyn. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 28 points and 11 rebounds while coming off the bench, and Jaylen Brown led the starters with 7 rebounds.

The Celtics are back in the primetime spotlight on Sunday night, with a rivalry matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, which will be the final matchup in their season series. Currently, Philadelphia has a 2-1 series lead against Boston, with all three of the games finishing out with a combined 4 points. Philadelphia will also be looking for a road sweep of the Celtics, behind superstar point guard Tyrese Maxey who has averaged 29 points in the three matchups against Boston.
