RIVERDALE, N.Y. –

Wrapping up the regular season on Senior Day, the Manhattan Jaspers look to close out against the Peacocks from Saint Peter’s. Leading Manhattan in the points category has been Senior guard Brianna Davis, averaging 15.6 points a night, including a Division I high of 30 points last time out at Iona. Her scoring average puts her in fourth place across the MAAC. Senior guard Hana Mühl has helped spread the rock, with a nightly average of 4.3 holding second place in the MAAC. On the defensive end, Graduate forwards Colette Mulderig and Agar Farrés Garcia have helped anchor that end of the floor, with the former’s 1.5 average on blocks putting her in second place across the MAAC, while the latter’s 8.2 rebound average puts her in fourth. The Jaspers will look to close out strong before heading to Atlantic City for the first round of the MAAC Tournament on Thursday (Mar. 5).

Scouting the Opposition:

•After starting the 2025-26 season without a Division I win in the non-conference slate, the Saint Peter’s Peacocks have since gone 6-14 in the MAAC.

•Saint Peter’s clinched the tenth and final spot in the 2026 MAAC Championship on Thursday by virtue of Rider losing to Siena.

•The Peacocks are led by Sophomore forward De’Naya Rippey, averaging 12.8 points a night including two 25+ point performances in the conference slate in back-to-back games against Merrimack and Rider. Rippey also leads the team in rebounding with a 7.8 per game average.

•Three players average 6.2 points or more, in Junior center Carys Roy (7.7), Redshirt Junior Nikola Zdenkova guard/forward (6.9), and Freshman guard Jahshlynn Vega (6.2).

•Saint Peter’s was selected to finish tenth in this year’s edition of the MAAC Preseason Poll, exactly where they currently stand.

•The Peacocks finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 11-19, going 9-11 within the MAAC.

•At the 2025 MAAC Championships in Atlantic City, they earned the seventh seed to get a matchup with tenth-seeded Iona in the first round. The Peacocks lost to the Gaels by a mere two points, missing a potential game-tying tip-in at the buzzer.

•This will serve as the 99th meeting all-time between Saint Peter’s and Manhattan, with the Jaspers taking the first meeting this season 60-45 in Jersey City.
