NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Protesters will take to Times Square Saturday afternoon to oppose the United States and Israel’s attack on Iran.
The rally is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Times Square.
“The U.S. and Israel are carrying out an unprovoked, illegal bombing campaign on Iran,” said organizers with The People’s Forum. “This war serves no one but a tiny elite and oil executives.”
It comes just hours after the United States and Israel launched an attack on Iran, with the first apparent strike happening near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
