BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A woman was killed, and her 16-year-old son was injured in a stabbing in the Bronx, according to the NYPD.
The stabbing happened just before 7 a.m. on Sherman Avenue, police said. Police are now searching for the woman’s boyfriend related to the incident, according to the NYPD.
After the 42-year-old woman was stabbed, she was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The teenager is in stable condition, police said. Police say the stabbing stemmed from a domestic dispute.
No identifying information about the mother and child was immediately available.
