The Boston Celtics blew out the Brooklyn Nets 148-11 in a historic night of offensive efficiency, with the Celtics fielding six players who scored in double figures — and all active members of the roster putting up points. The Celtics shot an absurd 67 percent from the field overall, and a sizzling 65 percent from beyond the arc, and an efficient 81 percent from the free throw line as well.
Boston actually lost the shot margin race in this game for a change to the Nets 88-78, but the Celtics elite efficiency made that a non-factor in the outcome. Winning the battle of the boards 39-25 certainly did not hurt, nor did a 38-29 edge on assists harm the Celtics’ night for the ages.
