Going out to just one great restaurant is nice, but what about experiencing two hotspots at once? Chef collaborations are the most recent hype-worthy reservation across the city, with chefs traveling between neighborhoods, boroughs, cities, and even countries for one night only experiences at New York City restaurants. The exclusivity, spontaneity, and deliciousness are all appealing to those wanting to experience all the city’s culinary scene has to offer. Here are the top restaurant and chef collaborations to book this March:

Friday, March 6: Cuerno New York x Enrique Olvera

Cuerno, the contemporary Mexican steakhouse at Rockefeller Center, and Michelin-starred chef Enrique Olvera (of New York’s Cosme, Atla, Esse Taco) will host a one-night-only collaboration dinner. In partnership with Manojo Mezcal, the dinner will feature a four-course menu curated by Olvera, reinterpreting classic steakhouse dishes through a Mexican lens, with Cuerno’s Executive Chef Oriol Mendívil helping execute the menu. Guests will also enjoy a curated wine pairing featuring Mexican producers and a specially curated selection of Manojo Mezcal cocktails. Reservations will be available between 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with tickets priced at $235 per person. Reserve via Resy

Chefs India Doris of Markette and Telly Justice of HAGS will serve an exclusive, $150 six-course menu celebrating their distinctive culinary points of view. Hosted at Markette, the Caribbean-influenced, modern European restaurant in Chelsea, dish highlights will include salt cod fritters served with scallions and a side of Scotch bonnet aioli, hamachi with green mango, tamarind, and sorrel, and Peri-Peri chicken, served alongside a cabbage slaw and fuck fat fries; as well as rosemary farinata with maitake mushrooms, celery root, hazelnut, and truffle; and grilled lobster served with sorana beans, chewy cauliflower, and saffron. Food Bank For New York City, the city’s largest hunger relief organization, launches its 3rd annual Eat For Good Dinner Series with a collaboration between the legendary, family-owned and operated steakhouse serving New Yorkers since 1887, and the iconic Japanese restaurant. Taking place at Peter Luger Steak House in Williamsburg, the dinner is $500 and will include an exclusive multi-course menu highlighting classic dishes from both restaurants, alongside wine and cocktails. In honor of Women’s History Month, Chef Emily and Chef Helen, both James Beard semifinalists, will present a four-course, $90 menu inspired by Chinese Vietnamese street food with a contemporary lens at Yingtao in Hell’s Kitchen. The dinner highlights their shared fine-dining background and personal roots, blending bold Vietnamese and Chinese flavors in a format that is more casual, nostalgic, and larger than Yingtao’s typical tasting menu.
