FDNY labels deli fire in The Bronx “suspicious” – NBC New York

Four firefighters are recovering from minor injuries, after a fire burned through a deli in Melrose, The Bronx Saturday.

Video obtained by NBC New York shows flames that broke out around 11:00 A.M at Fane Grocery on Courtland Ave. and East 151st St. The fire is being called “suspicious,” but it’s not clear why.

It took firefighters about 90 minutes to get the fire under control. No other injuries are reported.
