NEW YORK CITY — A Thai restaurant in Union Square will be one hosting a special one-night pop-up as part of its ongoing guest bartender series featuring four original cocktails by Tan Khantachavana next month.

Khantachavana is a Bangkok-born, New York–based beverage operator, who is currently the bar program director at BKK New York.

The guest bartender series at Narkara launched earlier this month and spotlights talented Thai bartenders, bringing fresh perspectives and flavors.

On March 15, Khantachavana will showcase four cocktails including:

The BKK Martini, infused with Makrut lime leaf-infused gin and sweet potato-infused pisco.

Californiacation, inspired by Tan’s early years working in Los Angeles and immersing himself in a new bar culture in a foreign country.

Breakfast Club, a clarified milk punch with granola-infused sotol.

The Great Depression Sour, inspired by banana bread and made using cocoa butter-washed bourbon.

The takeover will take place in Narkara’s bar and lounge area and guests dining in the main room will also be able to order the guest cocktails throughout the evening.

Reservations are now available via Resy.
