Hundreds of East New York customers are without power Sunday after multiple wires caught fire, according to locals.
Con Edison workers have been on scene along Hegeman Avenue since 8 a.m.
This is the second time in less than two months residents in the area have lost power.
“They have to do better. They just did a rate increase, and this is the service customers are still getting,” said New York City Council Member Chris Banks.
