CONCOURSE, the Bronx (PIX11) — An 11-year-old girl allegedly stabbed a 12-year-old boy in a Bronx school on Monday, according to sources.
The incident happened at I.S. 218 on Gerard Avenue in Concourse at around 11:07 a.m., according to the NYPD.
The boy was stabbed in the left arm and taken to the hospital for treatment, police said. It was unclear what prompted the attack.
The school has 800 students and one school safety agent, officials said.
A spokesperson for New York City Public Schools could not immediately be reached.
