MALKY Thomson has named four changes to his Rangers Under-19s side for this evening’s final Glasgow Cup group stage match against Queen’s Park at the Rangers Training Centre.
The young Gers are in a strong position to advance after last week’s penalty shootout bonus point victory over Celtic B and have named a particularly youthful side for tonight’s clash.
From the triumph at Lennoxtown seven days ago, in comes Greig Thackray, Luke Ramage, Cormac Christie and Zebedee Lawson.
It means Thackray replaces Rydnn McGuire between the posts, behind a backline of Ben Hutton, Conor Owen, Lyle Wark and Ramage who makes his first Under-19s start.
In midfield, Aiden McCallion captains the side and is joined by Aiden Crilly and Kyle Glasgow, fresh off signing his first professional contract.
Christie leads the line in attack and will play his first minutes since November following an injury lay-off, where he is flanked by the returning Lawson and Max Cameron.
Among the substitutes for this one is Jaden Millarvie, Oliver Hynd, James Reid, Calum Young, Cameron Fernie, Coben Fergusson and Ruaridh Hall.
Kick-off in Milngavie is 7:30pm and you can stay up to date with the action on X @RFC_Youth, while RangersTV subscribers can enjoy match highlights.
