Kingsbury, NY (WRGB) — A Fort Ann woman has been charged with criminally negligent homicide after a fatal crash on Route 4 in Kingsbury in April 2025.

According to Washington County Sheriff Office, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Rhonda Sexton following an investigation into the crash. Sexton was charged with criminally negligent homicide, a class E felony.

Investigators determined Sexton was driving northbound when she crossed the center line and “acted in a negligent manner,” causing the death of Keri Pike, who was driving, Murphy said.

Sexton was arraigned at centralized arraignment and released, and is scheduled to appear in Kingsbury Court on a later date.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Investigation and Road Patrol divisions handled the case with assistance from New York State Police.
