Good morning, New York. Here’s what you need to know today.
Your Weather Planner
We had a cold and dry start early this morning with temperatures in the single digits and teens. We also have a storm coming today with a wet snow to breaking out by mid morning and spreading north. We’ll only receive 1-3 inches of snow in our area with most of that falling in the hills north. Expect a quick flip to a wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain and rain this afternoon from the Capital Region into the lower Hudson Valley, while light snow persists across the North Country. The combination of snow and an icy mix may make some untreated surfaces slippery for the afternoon commute and overnight.
