Felize Enrique struck the 9-year-old with an open hand, knocking her onto the ground while playing outside, the DA Katz said.

Two good Samaritans and an off-duty officer, Sergeant Sebastian Hajder, attempted to apprehend Enrique, according to court documents.

During the incident, Enrique bit the officer on the knee, hand, and finger of the cop. Enrique ended up biting off the fingertip of the officer’s right index finger, court documents said.

Both victims were treated at a local hospital. Doctors were unable to reattach the officer’s fingertip, officials say.
