STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating several robberies that occurred across Staten Island over the course of a recent week, according to the NYPD.

Robberies are down 4% (243 vs. 252) for the year compared to the same period in 2024, according to the NYPD’s latest CompStat figures.

The database indicates that seven robberies were reported on Staten Island between Oct. 13 and 19 — the most recent week for which statistics are available.

Here’s a look at those incidents:

On Oct. 14 at 6 p.m., a robbery that began as shoplifting was reported at Corson Avenue and Victory Boulevard in Tompkinsville.On Oct. 15 at 1 p.m., a personal electronic device robbery occurred at Saint Marys Avenue and Tilson Place in Rosebank. Later that same day at 9 p.m., another personal electronic device robbery was reported at Henderson Avenue and Broadway in West Brighton.On Oct. 17 at 2 a.m., a robbery that began as shoplifting was reported at Hamden Avenue and Hylan Boulevard in Grant City. Later that same day at 6 p.m., an open-area robbery was reported at Castleton and Port Richmond avenues in Port Richmond.On Oct. 18 at 9 a.m., an open-area robbery occurred at Degroot Place and Bodine Street in West Brighton.On Oct. 19 at 11 a.m., an open-area robbery was reported at Henderson Avenue and Broadway in West Brighton. Later that same day at 11 p.m., a personal electronic device robbery occurred at Warren and Gordon streets in Stapleton.
