QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A massive fire broke out at a vacant two-story building in Queens early Thursday morning, according to the FDNY.

The fire, which broke out on the top floor of a two-story building at 71-57 70th Street, was reported at around 1:12 a.m.

Fire officials say the building was under construction.

141 Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene. The fire was under control by 3:03 a.m.

One firefighter was transported to a local hospital.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
