New York Theatre Barn will launch the 13th season of its Choreography Lab March 24 with a 7 PM ET presentation at Open Jar Studios previewing material from developing original musicals Little Red, The Pelican, and Andy, Keith & Jean-Michel. The performance will also stream live.
Little Red—featuring music by Veronica Mansour and a book and lyrics by Sophie Boyce, will feature choreography by Katie Spelman. The Pelican—with a book and lyrics by Will Lacker and music and lyrics by Dylan Glatthorn—will feature choreography by Colette Krogol and Matt Reeves. Andy, Keith & Jean-Michel by Matthew Puckett is being choreographed by NYTB’s Joe Barros and Héctor Flores, Jr.
The Lightning Thief songwriter Rob Rokicki will moderate the evening.
