BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) — A 4-year-old boy was fatally struck by a hit and run driver after he ran into the street on Thursday morning.
It happened near Rockaway Parkway and Linden Boulevard just after 11 a.m.
The boy got away from his mother, ran into the street and and was struck by a vehicle.
The driver did not remain at the scene.
His white Ford SUV was last seen northbound on Rockaway Parkway.
The boy was pronounced dead at Brookdale University Hospital.
Few other details were released.
