UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — Police are asking for help in the search for a suspect wanted in two random attacks against women on the Upper West Side.
The intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and West 60th Street is just like so many other street corners on Manhattan’s Upper West Side; surrounded by buildings, businesses and bustling with typical foot traffic.
Yet this is where police say two women, ages 27 and 31, were randomly punched in the face just minutes apart after 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Residents and daily travelers are worried about their safety.
