Csaba and Henriett (shown in the photo with their sons) have been a beloved couple in the Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO communities, having built their dog walking and training business since 2000. Tragically, last December, Csaba was diagnosed with an incurable and terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer and died on Wednesday. Csaba, age 55, leaves Henriett and their two sons (grades 4 and 10).

Sarah, neighbor and a client of Csaba and Henriett, told BHB,

“Csaba and Henriett were more than just dog walkers. They were part of the fabric of Brooklyn Heights, as familiar as any neighborhood landmark. What always stood out was how much they truly cared about the dogs in their care. Every dog was treated with patience, attention, and real love. You also couldn’t miss how much Csaba and Henriett loved each other. Seeing them work side by side every day always felt a little romantic to me. They built something beautiful together through their kindness, their devotion to the animals, and to their family. Csaba will be deeply missed, and this neighborhood won’t feel quite the same without him.”
