MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested Wednesday night in Manhattan on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault in a case dating back to 2025, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Matthew Thomas Lynn, 27, of Manhattan.
According to Riley County police, Lynn was arrested around 10:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Fremont Street in central Manhattan on a Riley County District Court warrant charging him with aggravated assault.

Riley County police officials said the arrest stemmed from a report originally filed in August 2025.
Lynn was booked into the Riley County Jail on Wednesday night in connection with aggravated assault.
Officials said he was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was no longer in jail as of Thursday morning.
