UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who shoved a woman to the ground, fracturing her wrist, on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the 65-year-old woman was walking in front of 150 East 86 St., between Lexington and Third avenues, on Tuesday afternoon when a man shoved her to the ground at around 6:20 p.m.The woman sustained a broken wrist in the fall, police said.
The man ran away, heading toward Third Avenue on East 86th Street, to parts unknown, police said.
Medics took the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspect, who was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket, a black hat, and dark-colored pants.
Police have released a surveillance video of the suspect.
