When I won an Emmy for my show My Perfect Day, I certainly didn’t expect the celebration to include… another perfect day.
But that’s exactly what happened when my friends at INFINITI decided to treat me to a thoughtfully planned day in New York City—complete with glam, headshots, a little shopping and a luxurious ride into the city in the beautifully redesigned 2026 INFINITI QX60.
And yes, my Emmy came along for the ride.

A Joy Ride Into the City
The day began with a peaceful drive from New Jersey into Manhattan in the QX60, which has been completely refreshed for 2026 with a striking new design inspired by INFINITI’s flagship QX80. The moment I climbed into the back seat, I understood why this three-row SUV is known for blending luxury and practicality so seamlessly.
Between the quiet cabin, plush seating and beautiful interior details, the drive felt less like a commute and more like the start of a celebration. (My Emmy buckled in beside me certainly didn’t mind the upgrade either.)

Lights, Camera… Headshots
First stop: headshots with the legendary Peter Hurley, one of the most sought-after photographers in the business.
After getting camera-ready with hair and makeup, we spent the morning capturing fresh photos I can’t wait to use across my projects—from my speaking work to my writing and TV appearances.
Having a calm, comfortable ride into the city beforehand helped set the tone. The QX60’s refined interior and thoughtfully designed cabin make it easy to arrive feeling relaxed and ready.

A Little Fifth Avenue Fun
Next stop: Saks Fifth Avenue.
A personal shopper walked me through the store to help me pick something special to celebrate the moment. I debated between a beautiful pair of shoes, a chic bag and a little sparkle before finally landing on the perfect treat.
One of my favorite parts of the day was simply getting to enjoy the experience without rushing from place to place. The QX60 made the day feel effortless—from the smooth ride to the smart technology that keeps everything connected and easy.
With features like available Google built-in, drivers can use Google Maps, voice commands and familiar apps right from the dashboard—making navigating a busy city feel far less stressful.

The Ride Home
After a full day of celebrating, we headed back home—Emmy still riding beside me in the back seat.
What stood out most about the QX60 was how thoughtfully designed it is for real life. With three rows of seating, a spacious cargo area and advanced driver-assistance technology like available ProPILOT Assist 2.1 (which allows hands-off driving in certain freeway conditions), it’s built to make everyday journeys easier—whether that’s a family road trip, a daily commute or a very special day in the city.

The Perfect Ending
The truth is, the best part of the day wasn’t the shopping or the photos.
It was the feeling of being celebrated—and getting to spend the day doing things that bring me joy.
And thanks to INFINITI and the stunning 2026 QX60, it really did feel like the perfect day.
(Although I should mention: my daughter Charley is about to get her learner’s permit… and she already has her eye on the QX60.)
