“Vital City,” an urban policy think tank, recently came out with a report called “The State of Crime in New York City: 2025 and Beyond.”

The report found that despite historic lows in the number of murders and shootings in the five boroughs, overall major crime was still 27% higher than pre-pandemic levels.

Elizabeth Glazer, the founder of “Vital City,” joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to discuss more.

She previously served as the director of the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice under former Mayor Bill de Blasio.
