Kupferberg Center for the Arts Presents

Michael Feinstein’s Tribute to Tony Bennett

Featuring the Carnegie Hall Ensemble at Colden Auditorium on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM

“Tony Bennett is one of the most enduring icons of the 20th century. He has created a body of work surpassed by none,” says Michael Feinstein. On Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM, Feinstein brings the golden age of big band music to life in Michael Feinstein’s Tribute to Tony Bennett, a heartfelt celebration of Bennett’s legendary career, presented at Colden Auditorium and featuring the Carnegie Hall Ensemble.

Backed by the lush sound of a full big band, Feinstein performs an evening of timeless classics including “Because of You,” “Rags to Riches,” “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” “The Best Is Yet to Come,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “Stranger in Paradise,” and more. Feinstein’s dynamic interpretations, paired with the grandeur of the ensemble, promise an evening honoring Bennett’s extraordinary musical legacy.

A close friend of Tony Bennett, Feinstein brings a deeply personal connection to this tribute, infusing each performance with warmth and authenticity. His interpretations not only celebrate Bennett’s enduring repertoire but also preserve the cultural heritage of the Great American Songbook.

The program also reflects the storied history of Carnegie Hall and its long association with big band and popular music. Legends such as Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett himself have graced its stage. Feinstein and the Carnegie Hall Ensemble continue this tradition, bringing that legacy vividly to life for today’s audiences.

Kupferberg Center for the Arts is thrilled to welcome Michael Feinstein and Carnegie Hall Ensemble on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM at Colden Auditorium, located on the Queens College campus. Tickets range from $52–$92 and are on sale now at kca.nyc/feinstein or by calling the box office at (718)793-8080.
