New York City police are searching for three suspects after a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed overnight in Brooklyn, officials said Saturday. 

The NYPD said the teenager was shot in the head during a dispute at around 11:40 p.m. Friday near 44th Street and Ninth Avenue in Sunset Park. 

The boy was inside a car when he was fatally shot, police sources told CBS News New York.   

He was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition before he was pronounced dead, police said. 

The suspects were described by investigators as three males who were all wearing ski masks and black clothing.
