STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Although this weekend may not feature several events in New York City, there will still be two that are worth mentioning.
The 6th Avenue Autumnfest and the Day of the Dead Parade are scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
As noted in an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of police.
Here are the upcoming road closures:
Saturday, Oct. 256th Avenue Autumnfest in Manhattan
The festival will be held on 6th Avenue between 34th Street and 42nd Street.
Sunday, Oct. 26Day of the Dead Parade in Brooklyn
Formation will be on 59th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue.
The parade route will be along 5th Avenue between 59th Street and 44th Street.
Dispersal will be at 5th Avenue between 44th Street and 43rd Street.
The festival will be on 44th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue.
