The New York Giants have reached an agreement with Baltimore Ravens free-agent punter Jordan Stout on a three-year, $12.3 million contract that makes him the NFL’s highest-paid punter.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the news.

The deal, which reunites Stout with his former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, now with the Giants, cannot be officially signed until Wednesday due to league rules.

Stout, 27, emerged as one of the league’s elite punters after being drafted by Baltimore in the fourth round (130th overall) of the 2022 NFL draft from Penn State.

Over four seasons with the Ravens through 2025, he averaged 47.6 yards per punt on 231 attempts, including a career-long 74 yards and 100 punts inside the 20. His standout 2025 season featured a 50.1-yard average on 53 punts, earning Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro recognition.

The move upgrades the Giants’ special teams, where incumbent punter Jamie Gillan could be released. It underscores New York’s emphasis on bolstering key positions in free agency under Harbaugh’s leadership.
