It’s a “joyful” time down in Wutopia South – where the socialist mayor with a terrorist sympathizer wife has his own alternate reality – downplaying attacks on police and an ISIS-inspired terror attack at his own doorstep.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani – who is openly anti-Israel and accused of being antisemitic – this week passed on a chance to fully condemn the terrorists who tossed explosive devices at an anti-Muslim protest near the mayor’s mansion.

Instead he blasted the right win organizer of the anti-Muslim rally. In general he seemed more outraged by that then the terror attack.

“Such hate has no place in New York City,” Mamdani said on Sunday. “It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are.”

“Violence at a protest is never acceptable,” he added, addressing the ISIS-backed attack. “The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are.”

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu – who claims she isn’t a socialist but whose policies are socialist – and Mamdani are linked by their views and love for each other’s politics.  She praised his campaign last year as “joyful” and “inspiring” and Mamdani has said the Boston mayor is his role model.

Yet the ISIS attack is not the first time Mamdani, who is Muslim, has been criticized for failing to fully condemn acts of hate and violence by terrorists.

Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, liked several social media posts celebrating the Hamas attack against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023 – which sparked a war that killed thousands.

Yet Mamdani – who is openly anti-Israel – claims she is a “private person” who doesn’t deserve scrutiny, even though the mayor’s office and Duwaji cooperated with fawning magazine profiles of her.

“My wife is the love of my life, and she’s also a private person who has held no formal position on my campaign or in my City Hall,” Mamdani said when confronted with the horrific likes by his wife.

“I, however, was elected to represent all 8.5 million people in the city. And I believe that it’s my responsibility because of that role to answer questions about my thoughts and my politics, and my stances.”

Nowhere in that comment was there any condemnation of his wife’s position.

The question should be asked: Do you agree with your wife or not? She is supporting terrorists.

Mamdani was at odds with his own police commissioner about an attack on police that started with cops being pelted by ice and snow balls in their heads and backs – which union officials said were packed with rocks.

It’s now known as “Snowballgate.” Videos showed it was clearly not – as Mamdani claims – kids having a snowball fight, yet he refuses to admit that.

“What I’ve said in regards to the snowball fight is that, it’s a snowball fight that got out of hand,” Mamdani said.

But top cop Jessica Ticsch was forced to use stronger words, saying she supported police officers, several of whom had to be taken to the  hospital to be examined for injuries.

“I will hold this department to the highest standards,” Tisch said. “When those standards are met, I will always be fiercely protective of you, and as you’ve seen recently, I certainly will not tolerate any attacks on my cops.”

Tisch, who was appointed before Mamdani was elected, was true to her word. Against Mamdani’s wishes, she arrested one of the ice-throwing suspects. Police are looking for the other suspects.

“He (the mayor) does not believe this rises to the level of criminal charges,” a Mamdani spokesman said.
