Fort Ann, NY (WRGB) — A Fort Ann man is facing weapons charges after investigators said they found illegal weapons at his home.

Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy said the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Daniel Bailey of Fort Ann, New York, on charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, due to Bailey having a prior conviction of a crime.

Murphy said the arrest followed a joint investigation with New York State Parole that determined Bailey possessed the illegal weapons at his home.

Bailey was arrested at the Washington County Jail, where he is being held for a violation of New York State Parole.

He was arraigned in centralized arraignment and remanded back to the facility. He is expected to appear in the Town of Fort Ann Court at a later date.
