New York Giants re-signing CB Art Green, LB Caleb Murphy

March 10, 2026, 4:46 p.m. ET

The New York Giants continued to fortify their 2026 roster on Tuesday with two under-the-radar moves.

They are re-signing outside linebacker Caleb Murphy and are bringing back cornerback Art Green, who was an exclusive rights free agent (ERFA).

Murphy was also set to become an ERFA when the league’s new year begins on Wednesday. He was signed late last season off waivers after playing six games for the Los Angeles Chargers and five for the New England Patriots. Before that, he was with the Tennessee Titans.

Murphy is seen as a training camp challenger for a roster spot and a possible special teamer.

Green has played 20 games for the Giants over the past two seasons. His signing is contingent on his passing a physical.
