MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – One person was taken to an area hospital after being injured in a two-vehicle crash late Monday afternoon in Manhattan, officials said.
The crash was reported around 4:22 p.m. Monday near Casement Road and Hayes Drive, on the northeast side of Manhattan.
Riley County police who responded to the scene found a 2026 Chevy Colorado driven by Lily Dorio, 19, of Manhattan, collided with a 2021 Kia Sorento driven by Kaleigh Evans, 30, of Junction City.

Riley County police officials said Evans was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital by Riley County ambulance for treatment of her injuries.
Police added that Dorio was issued a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.
