SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Fire crews continue to battle a raging five-alarm fire at a factory in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at a factory at 17 53rd St. at around 12:18 a.m.

The main building collapsed, officials said.
“The fire started in one large factory and extended to two other large buildings to the left-hand side of the building toward the water,” said Kevin Woods, chief of fire operations.
About 250 firefighters are working the scene. Roughly 15,000 gallons of water are being dumped onto the fire per minute.
Officials said two firefighters sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
