QUEENS, NY — A number of subway lines faced significant delays after a man was fatally struck by a train in Queens during the Tuesday evening rush.
The incident happened at the 63rd Drive station in Rego Park around 5 p.m.
According to the MTA, an unidentified man was struck by a Manhattan-bound F train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The E, M, F and R lines were affected by the incident and commuters faced delays until late Tuesday night when trains began running on schedule, the MTA said.
It is not known at this time how the man go onto the tracks. He has not been identified yet.
An investigation remains ongoing.
