Two of the most powerful images Moses took over the past year were recognized by the association. One was the infamous arrest of then-City Comptroller Brad Lander by ICE agents at Federal Plaza last June.

Moses, who was recognized in 2022 by the New York Press Association as photographer of the year, also earned honors for his photo of Luigi Mangione, the alleged shooter of United Health CEO Brian Thompson, being led into a Manhattan courtroom for arraignment.
