Chris Briney is back on these streets, and soon, on our screens.

The star of The Summer I Turned Pretty showed off his classic New York City uniform this week as he headed to the set of Clashing Through The Snow—a holiday road-trip comedy also starring Michelle Randolph, Lukas Gage, and Julia Fox—in Washington Square Park.

A true Gen Z heartthrob, the base of Briney’s fit consisted of a chunky gray hoodie and slouchy black jeans, plus the charcoal Salomon Advanced x Carhartt WIP hiking sneakers all the It girls and guys have been wearing since last fall.

Moving into springtime dressing, Briney layered on a chocolate-brown leather jacket in a cropped, bomber-style silhouette, from Saint Laurent ($7,600). And for an extra ounce of luxury, he carried the brand’s slouchy men’s hobo bag in black grained leather. The sleek, elongated piece features suede lining and silver-tone hardware. It retails for a spicy $2,750.

Leaning into the New Yorker aesthetic, Briney (a longtime local) popped on a black New York Knicks hat, big headphones, and square black shades.

The off-duty look is very much on brand for the actor, whose last two public appearances were at Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 show in Paris (on January 27), and at a Knicks game, where he sat on Celebrity Row with his The Summer I Turned Pretty co-star and good friend Sean Kaufman (on November 28).

What can we say, he’s a man who knows what he likes.
