Two Manhattan High bowlers competed at the 6A State Championship on Wednesday at Bowlero Northrock in Wichita.

Sophomore Cortlynn Millington earned a state medal with a third-place finish, rolling a 707 series (227-277-203) across three games. Millington finished behind Mill Valley’s Layla Gonzalez (727) and Washburn Rural’s Megan Glinka (726) in the individual standings.

The finish caps another strong season for Millington, who also won the regional title the week prior and placed ninth at state as a freshman in 2025.

On the boys’ side, junior Kael Stock made his first career state appearance and finished 54th overall with a 574 series (208-167-199).

Millington and Stock both qualified for state after placing in the top 10 individually at the 6A regional meet in Lawrence last week.
